Our coaches

Our coaches have one goal and that is to create an atmosphere where every one can experience the benefits of physical activity, no matter the circumstance.  A safe place that encourages and helps people realize their (physical and mental) potential, translating to them living a happier and healthier life.

I’ve been interested in any kind of physical activity since I can remember. My first love was basketball and team sports but over time I found myself more and more interested in my own personal fitness. I joined the United States Army after high school in 2010 and served for 6 years active duty with numerous deployments over seas. During those years I learned  a lot about what the human body is capable of. Towards the end of my service I even provided and instructed physical training to other soldiers.  I found CrossFit or functional training in 2014. I was immediately hooked because of the transformation it had on my fitness. It introduced a challenging and competitive aspect of fitness that’s hard to find at the gym.  After the Military I enrolled in school to further my education and knowledge of physical training and the human body. I graduated from the University of Massachusetts Amherst with a bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology or the study of human body and it’s movement.  My pursuit of understanding how the human body works and ways to improve physically will always continue. So much advancement is happening and I believe the best trainer/coach should always be prepared to give their client the greatest product.

Originally from North Carolina, I moved to Western Massachusetts in 2017 and wandered into a CrossFit gym across the street from my house because I heard it was a great way to make friends. Instantly I fell in love with the atmosphere, community, training methodology, as well as the mental and physical benefits.
As a kid, I was always active, playing outside with the neighborhood kids and fondly remember being the only girl in football camp. I played a lot of sports recreationally including soccer and cross country. In college I took run conditioning and for a few years ran multiple half marathons, 10ks, and 5ks. After growing bored of running, I was glad to find CrossFit to add more variety to my training.

I absolutely love helping others move better, have fun, and do things they never thought possible. I particularly love coaching women who may be intimidated by free weights or have self-imposed limits (like thinking they could never do a pull up when that definitely isn’t the case!).  You’ll find me in the gym in the early mornings and on weekends. I look forward to welcoming you to our gym and most importantly having fun together!

I found my passion for health and wellness after a friend sent me a photo he took of me at their wedding.  I realized I needed to make a change because I didn’t recognize the person in the photo.  I started CrossFit in 2019 and have never looked back.  I enjoy the excitement of coaching people and helping them to achieve their goals.  There is no better feeling than watching someone crush a goal and realize they are far more capable of doing things than they thought.   Whether it’s a barbell or general movement I have the tools and the knowledge to help you achieve a healthier you! Come train with me and I will show you what you are capable of!

Starting off with team sports in high school I learned my body needs to be in motion to stay in motion, later on in my fitness career I became involved in more individual sports such as martial arts and trail running. After suffering significant injuries during those activities due to overtraining and my own ego I realized I needed more structure and guidance to stay on track. My background of martial arts gave me an understanding of the way the body moves and I want nothing more than to help anyone and everyone to be the most active and healthy person they can be!  I’m not here to turn you into Arnold Schwarzenegger, but I am here to make sure you can utilize your body for the things you need for years to come.
